His professional experience covers the different areas of legal advisory services for companies across a wide range of sectors, industries, and sizes. His expertise ranges from collective bargaining—collective agreements, company-level agreements or pacts, etc.—to corporate reorganizations and production outsourcing, as well as restructurings and litigation support before all courts of the labor jurisdiction. In short, he provides comprehensive and ongoing labor law advisory services to companies and legal entities.

He is the author of several legal publications, including the “Todo Contratación Laboral” series (CISS – Wolters Kluwer España), an annual work whose first edition dates back to 1997, “La Reforma Laboral 2012” (CISS – Wolters Kluwer España), and “La Pensión de Jubilación” (Editorial Deusto). He is a regular contributor to the economic newspaper Expansión and to Onda Cero Radio Cataluña. He has also delivered numerous lectures throughout Spain, both in business, academic, and professional forums, on a wide range of labor law topics. He is the founding author of the legal blog “blogcanalprofesional.es”.

Member of the Barcelona Bar Association since 1992. He is a member of the Spanish Association of Labor and Social Security Law. Member of the mediation body of the Interconfederal Mediation and Arbitration Service (SIMA). Member of FORELAB (Spanish Labor Lawyers Forum).

He has developed his entire professional career for more than 25 years at “Bufete Ortega, Abogados.”
